In celebration of our (my Grandpa was Canadian) Canadian heritage...
HAPPY CANADA DAY!
We used to celebrate these two holidays (Canada Day & Fourth of July) in Grand Bend. We would camp at the Pinery (our favorite place to camp!) and go into town to watch the fireworks on the beach. It was so cool to sit/lay on the beach and watch the fireworks explode out over Lake Huron. The reflection on the water, the smell of spent shells, all the people - what a great way to celebrate.
